SF9's Rowoon is about to bring the kilig in GNTV's latest K-drama offering “Extra-ordinary You.”
Ever heard of the saying, “Your life is a story and you are the protagonist while everyone else is a side character?”
Well, it's not the case for high school student Dani, the lead character in Extra-ordinary You. Dani realizes she's only a side character in a comic titled “Secret.”
K-drama actress Kim Hye-yoon, known for starring in GMA Telebabad's Sky Castle, plays Dani in the series.
Here, she plays an “extra” who lives inside a teen fiction comic book who decides to take fate into her own hands by changing her destiny and going against an omniscient and omnipotent “Writer.”
Joining her are actors Lee Jae-wook, Jung Gun-joo, Kim Young-dae, and SF9's Rowoon, who will all play an important role in the series and in Dani's life.
In particular, Rowoon will play a character called “Number 13” in the story. He has no name and only exists in the background. But when he meets Dani, his life begins to change.
Extra-ordinary You is based on a 2018 fantasy romance webtoon called “July Found by Chance.”
Following its airing in South Korea, the series won Drama of the Year at the MBC Drama Awards and Outstanding Korean Drama at the Seoul Drama Awards in 2019.
